Rental conditions
Rental agreement at Moulin des Vernes
You are welcome on the day of arrival from 15.00 hrs and the house has to be vacated at 10.00 hrs on the day of departure. This is necessary for getting the house clean and the beds made for the next guests. Should you have other wishes, then we would like to hear about them.
The rental sum includes:
Renting the house as mentioned on the website
The use of water and electricity
Bedlinen
Not included:
Tourist tax of €0,80 pppn, camping site €0,50 pppn. End cleaning Maison l’Etang €50,-/Maison Tanniere €55,-/Safari tent €40,- (to be left swept clean)
Deposit €100,- cash on arrival or via internet beforehand.
Pets €5,- per day per pet
Wood for the woodburner can be bought at €8,- per wheelbarrow. Electricity and wood must be paid at the end of your stay. The deposit money will be reimbursed within a fortnight of your departure if all is in order. Should there be breakages or damage, realistic costs will be deducted from your deposit.
After having received half of the rent, we will confirm your booking via an e-mail. The remainder of the rent should be paid at least a fortnight before your arrival. If this is not complied with, we are entitled to cancel the booking and rent out to someone else. If bookings are done one month before arrival, the full amount should be paid in.
If you as a renter decide to cancel the rental agreement, you should let the letter/landlord know straightaway.
Should you cancel within four weeks before arrival, no restitution is possible. In case the rental object can be rented out to a third party, a restitution will be done, minus €50,- for administration and cancelling costs. Under no circumstances are you allowed to sublet to a third party.
The use of wifi is free. This use of the internet concerns normal usage, i.e. nothing can be downloaded nor is it allowed to visit illegal sites.
Fishing rights for our own lake for carp, rock-bass and trout are included in the rent. The fish that have been caught should be returned to the lake because of fish stock.
You are responsible for damage to our property. The letter/landlord cannot be held responsible for the state of local roads (a.o. the unpaved access road),the quality of the water, the lake, inconveniences and/or temporary lack of water or electricity due to work by third parties, .
Swimming and playing in the lake will be at your own risk,

We do everything in our power to make things run smoothly, but should something not function nevertheless or not sufficiently, please let us know and we will do something about it.
When making your down payment, you automatically accept this rental agreement.
